Human Hair Clip-In Extensions: Sets, Volumizers and Halo
Short answer: our clip-in extensions are made from single-donor virgin Remy human hair, sourced in South India, and come as a one-piece volumizer, a multi-piece clip-in set, or a halo (listed in our shop as Nimbus). They are stocked from 10″ to 28″. This page shows what each format is, the weight at every length, the shade codes and how to look after them.

What the hair is
Every clip-in we make comes from raw, unprocessed, single-donor virgin Remy human hair, the same hair as the rest of our range. Virgin means it has never been coloured, permed or acid-washed. Remy means the cuticles all run the same way. Single donor means each bundle comes from one person. If you want the full explanation of those labels, read Virgin Remy human hair explained.
Coloured shades are the same hair, coloured afterwards. We do not call a coloured shade “unprocessed”, because blondes involve bleaching and fashion colours are dyed.
Length and weight
Clip-ons get heavier as they get longer. Weights are in grams, for the whole product (one volumizer, one set or one halo), not per piece.

We stock 10″ to 28″. The shop lists natural straight and natural wavy in every one of those lengths, and natural curly from 10″ to 24″.

Textures
Natural straight, natural wavy and natural curly. Curly hair is in chronically short supply, so our curly items are shown as sold out. We can take back orders but cannot give a definite timeline, so please contact us before you plan around it.
Heat, colour and care
You can heat-style and colour clip-ins. Because the hair is healthy single-donor virgin Remy, heat that is fine for your own hair is fine for the extensions. Be more careful with blonde and coloured shades: bleaching weakens the strand, so those need extra care with heat and more conditioning than the same hair in its natural colour.
To wash them, use a sulphate-free shampoo and condition for at least 10 minutes. Hard water is a common cause of matting, so a water filter helps if your tap water is hard. Matting is the most common issue buyers report.
Questions we get
What is the difference between a clip-in volumizer, a clip-in set and a halo?
A volumizer is one piece. A set is several pieces in different widths, each with its own clips (see the list above). A halo is a clip-on volumizer with a string; our shop lists it as Nimbus.
Are these real human hair?
Yes. They are made from single-donor virgin Remy human hair, the same hair we use across our extensions range.
What lengths do clip-ins come in?
10″ to 28″ (natural curly is listed from 10″ to 24″). Longer lengths are not part of our regular stock.
How much do clip-ins weigh?
Weight is per product and grows with length: 100 g from 10″ to 16″, 120 g at 18″ and 20″, 140 g at 22″ and 24″, and 160 g at 26″ and 28″.
Can I colour or heat-style them?
Yes. Treat them like your own hair, with extra care on blonde and coloured shades. We do not give temperatures.
Which shades can I order?
The shop lists a few popular shades. Our full chart has 28 shades. For one the shop does not list, place your order choosing Dark Brown (#004) or Platinum Blonde (#613) and email us the shade you want from the chart, or contact us before you order.
Do you have curly clip-ins?
Curly is in limited supply and is shown as sold out. We can take back orders but cannot give a definite timeline, so please contact us.
How long do clip-in extensions last?
With good care, they can last 1 year or longer, depending on how the end user looks after them. Some of our clients have had the same hair for 5 years. That is our experience, not a guarantee.
How do I wash and care for them?
Sulphate-free shampoo, at least 10 minutes of conditioner, and a water filter if your water is hard. Hard water is a common cause of matting.
How do I put clip-ins in?
A general guide, not a styling lesson. Part your hair and clip the sections you are not working on out of the way. Open the clips, place the piece close to the roots where it will be hidden by your own hair, and close the clips. Start with the widest piece low at the back and work up, then finish with the narrow pieces at the sides. A volumizer or halo goes on as one piece.
