Human Hair Bundles for Weave and Sew-In: Single-Donor Virgin Remy

Human Hair Bundles for Weave and Sew-In: Single-Donor Virgin Remy

Short answer: our bundles are made from single-donor virgin Remy human hair, sourced in South India. Each bundle weighs 100 g (3.5 oz), is single-drawn with natural tapered ends, and is wefted on a triple-headed machine. We stock 10″ to 28″ in natural straight and wavy. Natural curly is in limited supply and is shown as sold out. We can take back orders but cannot give a definite timeline, so please contact us. This page explains what a bundle is, how to tell good hair from poor hair, and how to care for it.

Human hair bundles for weave: natural straight and natural wavy single-donor virgin Remy bundles in natural black

What is a human hair bundle?

A bundle (also called a weft) is a length of human hair sewn along the roots so the strands stay together and can be sewn onto braids for a weave or sew-in. The words “bundle” and “weft” are used for the same product. Ours is a standard 100 g unit.

What the hair is

Single donor means each bundle comes from one person, so the texture and health are consistent from top to bottom. Virgin means the hair has never been coloured, permed or acid-washed; Remy means the cuticles all run the same way. Because every bundle is a different person’s hair, two bundles from us will vary a little in shade, texture and wave. That variation is normal and is a sign the hair is genuinely single-donor. For the full explanation of these labels, read Virgin Remy human hair explained.

Textures and lengths

We stock natural straight and natural wavy in 10″ to 28″. Natural curly raw hair is in chronically short supply, so our curly bundles are shown as sold out and we do not treat them as a regular stock item. We can take back orders but cannot give a definite timeline, so please contact us before you plan an order around curly. Lengths of 30″ and longer are available on enquiry, in limited supply.

Shades

The shop lists three popular shades for bundles: Natural Black (#01B), Dark Brown (#004) and Platinum Blonde (#613). Our full chart has 28 shades. If you want a shade from the chart that the shop does not list, place your order choosing Dark Brown (#004) or Platinum Blonde (#613) and email us the shade you want from the chart, or contact us before you order. Coloured shades are the same hair, coloured afterwards. We do not call a coloured shade unprocessed, because blondes involve bleaching and fashion colours are dyed.

Because virgin Remy is single-donor, untreated hair, it holds colour predictably. Colourists and salon owners tend to rely on that when they lift and tone it. Bleached hair is still weaker than the same hair in its natural colour, so blonde shades need more conditioning and more care with heat.

How to tell high quality human hair bundles

These checks are useful, but they take practice, and a first-time buyer may not read the subtle differences on the first try.

  • Feel. Run a finger root to tip: aligned cuticles feel smooth in one direction and rougher against it.
  • Finish. Genuine unprocessed hair looks matte. Very silky or glossy hair has almost always been processed or coated.
  • Colour. Natural colour shows subtle gradation toward the ends in daylight. A flat, painted-on tone suggests processing.
  • Ends. Natural, mixed-length tapered ends are what single-drawn hair looks like. They are not a flaw.
  • Variation. Genuine single-donor bundles are never identical. If ten bundles look exactly the same, the hair is processed or blended. In photos bundles can look alike, so compare them in hand and in daylight.
  • Price. Full-weight single-donor virgin Remy is expensive raw material. A price that looks too good for the claim is worth questioning.

No practical per-bundle certification exists in this industry, so a printed certificate tells you very little. We rely on being open about where the hair comes from. See Virgin Remy human hair explained for the longer version.

Single-drawn or double-drawn?

Our bundles are single-drawn: the strands keep their natural length variation, so the ends taper. Double-drawn bundles have the short strands removed so the lengths are more even. They look fuller at the ends, but the uniform lengths make the hair tangle more, so it takes more detangling.

A genuine single-donor double-drawn bundle is possible, but it means cutting longer hair down and wasting the rest, and it ends up costing significantly more than the same hair left single-drawn. For that reason, a low price on “single-donor virgin Remy double-drawn” hair is a claim worth questioning.

Heat, colour and care

You can heat-style and colour these bundles. Because the hair is healthy single-donor virgin Remy, heat that is fine for your own hair is fine for the extensions. We do not give temperatures. Be more careful with blonde and coloured shades.

To wash them, use a sulphate-free shampoo and condition for at least 10 minutes. Hard water is a common cause of matting, which is the most common problem buyers report, so a water filter helps if your tap water is hard. With good care the hair can last 1 year or longer, depending on how the end user looks after it. Some of our clients have had the same hair for 5 years. That is our experience, not a guarantee.

Ordering and shipping

We ship worldwide from India. Bundle orders are dispatched in 2 to 3 business days. Blonde shades such as #613 need about 7 days for the colour to be developed, and the product page has the details for each shade. Once dispatched, delivery to the US and Canada is typically 3 to 5 business days, and other countries may take longer. On our online shop, orders of 3 to 6 products, made up of bundles only or bundles with closures or frontals, ship free to the countries listed in our shipping policy. Questions we get

What is the difference between a hair bundle and a weft?
They are the same product: hair sewn along the roots. Ours weigh 100 g each.

How much does one bundle weigh?
100 g (3.5 oz).

How many bundles do I need?
It depends on the style, the density the wearer wants and the stylist’s method, so we do not recommend a number. Your stylist is the best person to advise, so ask them before you order.

Are your bundles single-donor virgin Remy?
Yes. Each bundle is made from the hair of one donor, sourced in South India, never coloured, permed or acid-washed. Coloured shades are the same hair, coloured afterwards.

Are your bundles single-drawn or double-drawn?
Single-drawn, with natural tapered ends.

What lengths and textures do you stock?
10″ to 28″ in natural straight and wavy. Natural curly is in limited supply and is shown as sold out. We can take back orders but cannot give a definite timeline, so please contact us. 30″ and longer is available on enquiry in limited supply.

Which shades can I order?
The shop lists Natural Black (#01B), Dark Brown (#004) and Platinum Blonde (#613). Our full chart has 28 shades. For one the shop does not list, place your order choosing Dark Brown (#004) or Platinum Blonde (#613) and email us the shade you want from the chart, or contact us before you order.

Why do two of my bundles look slightly different?
Each bundle comes from a different donor, so shade, texture and wave vary a little from bundle to bundle. Identical-looking bundles would suggest blended or processed hair.

Can I colour or heat-style the bundles?
Yes. Treat them like your own hair, with extra care on blonde and coloured shades. We do not give temperatures.

How long do human hair bundles last?
With good care, they can last 1 year or longer, depending on how the end user looks after them. Some of our clients have had the same hair for 5 years. That is our experience, not a guarantee.

How do I stop my bundles matting?
Wash with sulphate-free shampoo, condition for at least 10 minutes, and use a water filter if your water is hard. Hard water is a common cause of matting.

Do you ship worldwide, and is shipping free?
We ship worldwide from India. Bundle orders are dispatched in 2 to 3 business days, plus about 7 days for blonde shades such as #613, and delivery to the US and Canada is typically 3 to 5 business days after dispatch (other countries may take longer). Orders of 3 to 6 products on our online shop, made up of bundles only or bundles with closures or frontals, ship free to the countries in our shipping policy.
